I first discovered this oil whilst on holiday in Morocco. Aside from its remarkable natural properties, its production, still entirely by hand, provides poor rural Berber women with an opportunity to earn a living outside the home and independent of the male members of their household.

The unique qualities of cosmetic argon oil derive from its high content of vitamin E and lineolic acid that deeply moisturizes the skin, protecting against environmental aggressions by neutralizing free radicals. It is renowned for its anti ageing and anti inflammatory properties and also for the fact that it helps to restore and protect the skin's acid mantle, which in turn prevents moisture loss and protects against acne-causing bacteria.
